A real shift this last few days, rain, cold weather and so many falling leaves. December is the most amazing time of the year. I don’t sleep much, working a load and loving it.

Windrush Farm Holiday Fair was a blast! Weather didn’t stop the show, we were nestled in a big wonderful barn, the handmade pizzas were delicious from the outdoor wood oven and the visitors to the fair were fabulous.

The last weekend for the Healdsburg Farmers Market was a lucky day, a predawn break in the weather, the wind and rain stayed away until pack up time. My last food from the farmers I love: Duncan’s Mushrooms, Sporgy Mushrooms, Bernier Farms, Middletown Farms and all the rest. We will have a holiday party to say goodbye to our season at Healdsburg. Can’t wait until the spring market starts!

I’m busy, lots of new metals arriving this week for the weekend at Finley Center, 45th Annual Holiday Craft Fair so there will be a big new wave of necklaces and earrings. I’m hoping to shoot the new earring designs this week, but the weather plays a big part of the online reveal.

If you live in Healdsburg and are looking for WardWorksArt locally, you can find kinetic art at Hopscotch Gifts & Gallery at 126 Matheson, jewelry at Healdsburg Center for the Arts at 130 Plaza Street and at Twisst! with my WildWires! necklaces. It’s like I live there, my other hometown in Sonoma County.

Hoping you have a wonderful holiday season, sharing time with family and friends, helping your community, or just cookies to the neighbors. Happy Holidays, wishing you the best of the season. - Denise
