IN WRITING exhibition, 10/15/22
I’m featured artist in this exhibition at my favorite art school in Sonoma County, Art Escape. I was an instructor at Art Escapes for many art camps and adult classes. This is a gem of a school, enabling the kids in Sonoma to become accomplished artists. They offer a wide range of art practices including glass art.
My piece, EQULIBRIUM, is a new series and this one is a collage piece. The inspiration is an ongoing feeling I have endured and was unrecognizable by me most of my life. That balance between trying to make the best of impossible situations until I find an out, a logic, a decision to let the impossible go. The tightrope of relationships, work situations, driving in traffic. This has been created in kinetic artwork and will be ongoing till the equilibrium finally feels balanced.
