Thank you family and friends, you are so sweet to send in notes, emails and purchase from my collections and I am eternally grateful for your support. This is the year we get to rethink our priorities and mine always include a load of daily gratitude and love. I’m going to have arthroscopic knee surgery soon, so I am making a load of new work. It will be a few weeks of “off my feet” so I am doing all I can until then. There are lots of things in all the collections on sale now. Prominently featured are the DONATION SERIES in the Kinetic Art, a way to give to the community that supports me, and my favorite places: MUSEUM OF AFRICAN DIASPORA, SAN FRANCISCO JAZZ CENTER, REDWOOD EMPIRE FOOD BANK, ART ESCAPE SONOMA, PETALUMA ARTS CENTER AND MARIN THEATRE COMPANY.
To keep focused without a clear view to the future, gardening is my answer. I’m already planning my fall garden with seedling trays of greens, onion sets, kohlrabi and loads of beets. The spring perennial flower seeds are sown as well, to get a good start for next summer’s garden. It’s my ray of hope, NEXT SUMMER’S GARDEN!!
